As Executive Director, Karl provides strategic leadership, governance oversight and technical expertise across the business, supporting the continued growth and development of Litmus FM’s consultancy, asset management and project delivery services. Working closely with the Board and senior leadership team, he plays a key role in shaping business strategy, mentoring future leaders, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-focused solutions.
Over the last 20 years, Karl has provided Facilities Management consultancy support to a wide range of clients across both traditional and PFI/PPP markets. His work has included FM and lifecycle cost modelling, procurement and tender support, FM strategy development, operational service reviews, benchmarking, value-for-money assessments, asset verification, contract mobilisation and performance improvement programmes across a diverse portfolio of operational projects.
Throughout his career, Karl has provided technical and strategic advice on projects across the UK, Ireland, Greece and Egypt, whilst also undertaking consultancy assignments for clients in Russia, Norway and the Netherlands. His experience covers the full asset and service lifecycle, from business case development and procurement through to operational service delivery, contract management and asset optimisation.
As a recognised Facilities Management and operational services specialist, Karl has led and supported multidisciplinary project teams and hard and soft FM service delivery teams, engaging with public sector authorities, lenders, special purpose vehicles (SPVs), investors and senior stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery, operation and handover of complex projects.
Karl’s most relevant projects include the Attica Schools PPP Programme in Greece, Alexandria Hospitals in Egypt, the University of East Anglia School of Midwifery, Cummins Engine Plant Asset and Lifecycle Modelling, Richmond University Asset Survey and Data Capture Programme, Sussex Police Custody Units PFI, Tower Hamlets Schools PFI, Miltoncross School Portsmouth PFI, East Lothian Schools PFI, Caerphilly Schools PFI and Dudley Schools PFI.
Drawing upon nearly three decades of industry experience, Karl continues to provide strategic guidance, technical support and governance leadership to clients and project teams, helping organisations optimise their estates, assets and Facilities Management operations while delivering long-term value and sustainable outcomes.
