3D Drone & Photo surveying

Utilising 3D scanning, UAV surveying and thermography. We build a visual record of your assets to support condition ratings.

The Service

Using state-of-the-art technologies, our 3D, Drone, & Photo Surveying involves the use of our advanced technologies, such as 3D scanning, UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) surveying, and thermography, to collect and assess mechanical, electrical, building services, and building fabric asset volumes, locations, and conditions.

Output

Our 3D, drone, and photo surveying deliver diverse and highly valuable information across our clients' portfolios. Each method offers unique deliverables tailored to specific surveying needs. Our 3D modelling survey produces detailed data in the form of a doll’s house view of our clients’ buildings. This provides our clients with easy access to look at their buildings and facilities from their desktops.

Our drone surveying leverages aerial imagery captured by UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) to produce high-resolution orthomosaic maps. The data can then be processed into 3D models and point clouds, similar to traditional 3D surveying, but often faster and more cost-effective for large areas.

Matterport photo surveying is based on photogrammetry, uses overlapping photographs to reconstruct 3D surfaces and generate orthophotos—images corrected for scale and perspective. These surveys yield high-resolution images and photogrammetric models, which are helpful for visual documentation, inspection, and mapping. While less data-rich than drone or 3D surveys, photo surveying is a practical method for capturing visual records and creating basic models for a CAFM system. We provide a wide range of live metrics on which to base decisions, allowing organisations to focus their efforts effectively in real-time.
