As part of this prestigious event, Litmus FM will host a 40-minute panel discussion on asset management, bringing together leading experts to explore best practices, innovative strategies, and the future of facilities management within the public sector.

John Brownless, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Litmus FM, will host the session, drawing on over 30 years of experience in facilities management, business development, and operations across both private and public sector markets. John’s expertise spans large single- and multi-site contracts, global and European operations, and over £1.4bn in secured contracts, making him ideally placed to steer this insightful discussion.

Joining John on the expert panel will be:

  • Anna Cousins, Head of Asset Management, Litmus FM - Anna brings extensive experience in delivering asset management projects, ensuring operational excellence, financial optimisation, and compliance. Her work spans councils, universities, retail chains, and high-profile venues such as the Jockey Club and Emirates Stadium, where she has successfully managed complex site programmes and maximised asset value.
  • Robert Eastwood, Property & Estates Expert - With 25 years of experience, Robert is a chartered surveyor specialising in real estate, facilities management, and project delivery. He has overseen estates of over 700 properties and managed budgets up to £100 million, aligning operational initiatives with strategic organisational goals. Robert is soon to assume the role of Head of Estates at Belong Villages, a pioneering care provider.
  • Ed Buttery, Director at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) EMEA - Ed combines operational and sales expertise across facilities management, delivering insights from leasing and property management to capital planning and asset maintenance. CBRE manages £2 billion of facilities services in the UK, positioning Ed to offer invaluable perspectives on public sector estate strategy and asset optimisation.
  • Adam McKay, Head of Programme and Policy - Facilities Management, Office of Government Property (OGP) - Adam has over 30 years’ experience in facilities management, including roles in supply chain, consultancy, and central government. He spearheaded the development of the first Government FM Standards and FM Strategy and now focuses on aligning government facilities management with wider strategic missions.

The panel promises to provide attendees with actionable insights into asset management, offering a rare opportunity to hear from leading voices across public and private sector FM.
