Our team have been busy these past few months speaking with journalists and contributing to media articles. If you missed any, don’t worry – we’ve rounded up a few of our favourites and shared them here:

Kevin Harrison, one of our Associate Consultants, shared his views in Practical Facilities Management magazine, September issue, in an article based around the topic of ‘do you need a CAFM system’.  Kevin’s resounding answer was ‘YES’ but it’s important to understand exactly what you’re buying into. Too often, we see CAFM systems being underused, which is a big missed opportunity. Have a read here (pages 16-17).

We also launched our Litmus FM Foundation in September – our new charitable initiative that will see our organisation donate a share of profits each year to our chosen charities – Smart Works Leeds and Prostate Cancer UK. We had lots of support from the media, with many publications reporting on the launch including FM-UK, i-FM, PFM, and FMJ. The Foundation is a cause close to our hearts so thank you to all the media who have helped us raise awareness of it.

Our Chief Operating Officer, Karl Cundill, had a full-page run in Tomorrow’s FM magazine, October issue, where he shines a light on winter maintenance – and what facilities managers should be considering to ensure their buildings are prepped ahead of the cold winter months.
